We welcome your feedback about our services. You can tell us what you think about the care or treatment you have received from us by completing the Friends & Family Test

You can also tell us about what matters to you by writing on the What Matters Posters on the walls of our waiting room, posting a completed Benfield Community flyer into our Reception desk boxes, contacting our Benfield Community Group via email or on Twitter, or joining our Participation Group (see below for further information).

We make every effort to give the best service possible to everyone who attends our Practice. However, we are aware that things can go wrong, resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint. In this case, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly and amicably as possible.

If you wish to make a complaint in regard to the Surgery, you can contact us by telephone (01273 411 229), email or letter. Please send letters to: FAO Practice Manager, Portslade County Clinic, Old Shoreham Road, Portslade, BN41 1XR

You can read our complaints policy and procedure here.

The information you supply us will be used lawfully, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to know what information is held about you and sets out rules to make sure that this information is handled properly.

Our Participation Group

Benfield Valley Healthcare Hub Participation Group is looking to build new relationships and work together to make a difference to the lives of our patients. We meet together every two months, and we are always looking for new members. Future meeting dates are to be confirmed due to the pandemic however, meetings will take place from 11am to midday at Benfield County Clinic. Everyone is welcome to join us

If you would like to attend a future meeting, suggest a topic for discussion, and/or join our Participation Group mailing list, please contact Louise via email at benfieldvalley.healthcarehub@nhs.net, or call the surgery on 01273 411229 and she will be happy to take your call.

Instead of a practice specific patient participation group, Benfield regularly attend the Hangleton and Knoll West Area Health Forum. This is a meeting that allows members of the community to come together and discuss things that matter to them within their healthcare. There are often guest speakers and key parts of information.
